Selayar traditional music and songs are Battik-Battik, Rambang-Rambang, Dide’. Battik-Battik is performed by boys and girls chanting reverberated pantun (a kind of traditional verse poetry) and played with drum and gambus (traditional guitar). Normally it is performed on people party or wedding party and performed whole night between 22.00 pm to dawn time.
